The goal of these proposals is not to suggest bad public art that should be built, rather to provoke a response or a rethinking of this space. These proposals were made with the suggestion that they should be practical, and pragmatic, and cheap. Throughout the next term, these proposals should start to look more like provocations. My goal is to model 6-10 of these, in material, three dimensional models. The materiality as well as the content of the model should suggest a re-thinking of the space through metaphor, media, and scale.
